Inside the New Tavern on the Green; Kids Take Over Nightclubs

This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) Upper West Side: The revamped Tavern on the Green opens next week, and Eater has a 16-photo tour of the new space. "The Tiffany glass and crystal chandeliers of the old Tavern have been replaced by earth tones, dark wood, and puffy red and green banquettes. There are no white tablecloths here."

2) New York City: The city's first paid sick leave law went into effect at the beginning of the month. Here's how five restauranteurs and chefs feel about the new rules.

3) Probably Brooklyn: Oy. Two nightclub-loving parents created Fuzipop, an event that lets parents host daytime parties for their kids in empty nightclubs. Music is courtesy 8- and 9-year-old DJs who just finished DJ school in Brooklyn.

4) Bushwick: Eater NY launched its restaurant reviews this week with critic Ryan Sutton giving three stars to Roberta's.
