Checking In on Issac & Stern's Very Similar Fulton St. Projects

New, 1 comment

We understand signature style, but these two new brick buildings coming to Fulton Street on behalf of architecture firm Issac & Stern are practically the same—and reminiscent of just about every other project the duo has their hands in right now. Both projects, at 1035 and 976 Fulton Street, will stand 7-stories tall over a cellar and have a red brick facade with an industrial-looking canopy. Both projects will host ground-floor retail, and include such niceties as a bike storage area. Brownstoner points out about 1035 Fulton Street that while more traditional in its look, the building will host modern fixtures like air conditioning, as evidenced by the under-window grates. Unsurprisingly, the same is true for 976 Fulton Street. The structure at 1035 will be approximately 29,000-square-feet, about 3,000 of which will be dedicated to commercial space, and have 35 dwellings. 976 will be slightly smaller at 22,000-square-feet with 23 apartments. Way to tweak, team!
