$1.9M Staten Island Fun House Has Lion Statues, Dance Studio

New, 13 comments

Our semi-regular feature, Monday Mansion, examines the most interesting mega homes on the market in the far reaches of New York. Have a listing in mind that we're missing? Tell us about it. To the outer boroughs we go!

Ah, Staten Island, land of ridiculous mansions. Today the real estate treasure chest brings us a 10-room ocean front manse at 17 Nicolosi Loop that's "untouched by Sandy!" The bona fide fun house has a dance studio, home theater, in-ground pool with a mini water slide, two wet bars, a giant game room, and what the brokerbabble calls a "country club yard." The decor is very Staten Island-y, with lots of linoleum, wall-to-wall carpet, and questionable chandeliers, and two lion statues flank the entrance, naturally. Asking price is $1.899 million, making it one of the cheaper Staten Island Monday Mansions.
