Massive Development Site on the Market in Bushwick

New, 7 comments

A 2.3-acre site between Seigel and Moore streets and White Street and Bushwick Avenue in Bushwick is on the market with an asking price of $35 million. The site is zoned for manufacturing and currently contains five industrial buildings, but it's being marketed as a potential "redevelopment opportunity" by brokerage Massey Knakal, who is handling the sale. An email from Massey Knakal that Brownstoner received referred to the neighborhood as "Morgantown of East Williamsburg/Bushwick" and listed a number of businesses that have sprouted up in the surrounding area in recent years, including Roberta's Pizza and the McKibben Street Lofts, although really any number of things could eventually be built there — most of the lots that make up the site currently have no certificate of occupancy of any sort.
