Commenter Peter Steinberg was this week's sole guesser, but his guess was exactly what we were looking for. The pictured two-story building at 117 East 125th Street is the former Harlem Strand Theater, originally designed by George Mort Pollard, but renamed the Harlem Grand Theater and renovated to accommodate modern technologies by William Hohauser in the 30's. The building is now occupied by the Latin American Pentecostal Church, La Sinagoga.
