While we await the much-anticipated launch of sales at Walker Tower little sister Stella Tower, now pushed to May, here are some more sneak peeks at its exterior and interior design. A few new renderings via official building reps show the gloriously Art Deco lobby, a first full-on look at the facade and entrance, and the view from a 14th-floor apartment. Meanwhile, a well-informed tipster sent along some other renderingsof a bathroom, bedroom, and amenity spaceas well as real photographs of a model unit. Also provided was a floorplan for apartment 15E, a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom set to ask $5.6 million. That comes out to $2,500 per square foot, an amount "quite remarkable for the area," which is Hell's Kitchen. StreetEasy doesn't have data on Hell's Kitchen specifically, but reports that the median price per square foot on sold properties in Midtown West is a mere $1,110. Developed by JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group, the same duo who teamed up for smash hit Walker Tower, Stella is another conversion of a former telcom building designed by Art Deco master architect Ralph Walker. This iteration, named for Walker's wife, will rise 18 stories and house 51 apartments, and be a smidge less high-end than its predecessor.
