Although it was at one point speculated that Extell's Pathmark-replacing tower on the Lower East Side could rise over 70 stories, it turns out that it going to be just shorter than that. According to preliminary Department of Buildings documents, the development will stand at 68 stories, with over 1.2 million square feet and 787 residential units. The architect of record is listed as Nick Zigomanis of Adamson Associates. [The Lo-Down; previously]
