New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman spoke out against Airbnb (yes, again) yesterday, alleging that at least half of the site's revenue in New York City stems from illegal listings. Schneiderman explained that his tirade against the site is in the name of the hotel industry, neighbors of Airbnb renters, and tourists, too. He differentiated between running an illegal hotel (not okay) and renting out a room in an apartment while you're still there (okay). The battle rages on. [Crain's/NYDN/NYP; previously]
