A ridiculous five-bedroom townhouse that hit the market last April has been soldto none other than pint-sized fashionista Mary-Kate Olsen and her older beau, Olivier Sarkozy. The Post reports that the couple snatched up the rare Turtle Bay Gardens home for $13.5 million from painter David Deutsch earlier this month, shielded behind an LLC. Originally asking $16,500,000, the insane house includes the following: 1) a portico, loggia, and a private garden with fountain as well as the shared one; 2) a hall of mirrors; 3) a ballroom; 4) a rooftop exercise pool; 5) a built-in garage; 6) an artist's studio; and 7) an elevator. There are also French phrases elegantly embossed on the ballroom's ceiling, which seems pretty appropriate for Monsieur Sarkozy, who can read them. MK and Olivier had originally planned to settle down in a 19th-century East Village townhouse, but sold it last fall, apparently in search of more privacy. They'll probably find it in this palace o' gilt in Midtown, right?
