Someone needed to challenge Boaz Gilad's Brookland Capital for the title of Developer Who Is Building a Whole Bunch of Minimally Attractive Residential Buildings in Brooklyn and that someone is, apparently, Hello Living. The Eli Karp-headed group is developing a row of eight single-family townhouses on a lot on the corner of Underhill Avenue and Pacific Street in Prospect Heights, which they purchased last year for $2.1 million, to go along with their hefty roster of other projects in the borough, including 2145 Albermarle Road, 618 Washington Avenue, The Collection, and others. The townhouses will feature large private terraces with outdoor kitchens, according to Brownstoner, as well as underground parking and highly insulated triple-paned glass windows. There have been no permits filed yet, but Karp says they hope to break ground this summer.
