Permits have been filed for two new residential developments in the East Village. The large project comes from developer Simon Dushinsky of The Rabsky Group, and it will be a 15-story, 50-unit mixed-use building at 644 East 14th Street with retail and community space on the first five floors. Architect is our pal Karl Fischer. The smaller development, located at 64 East 1st Street, will be completely residential and have just six large units over six stories. Ekstein Development is behind the project, which will likely be condos. [NY YIMBY]
