A state Supreme Court judge has given Africa Israel and Shaya Boymelgreen two weeks to begin handing over control of 15 Broad Street to its condo unit owners after rejecting a motion from the sponsors to block a restraining order by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Schneiderman is investigating the complex for alleged construction defects and financial improprieties, and has filed a lawsuit that states that the building has no permanent certificate of occupancy due to all the problems.
