The troubled Brooklyn Heights Cinema has bought, or rather fundraised, some more time at their 70 Henry Street location following a successful crowdfunding effort that raked in over $30,000 for a digital projector and the server needed to run it. While the projector helps the theater out at least in the short run, the building is still being marketed for sale or lease following its landlord's several failed attempts to pass a residential addition through the Landmarks Preservation Commission.
