Long-Stalled Bed-Stuy Rental Tower Finally Ready For Tenants

Construction of 12-story tower at 333 Greene Avenue between Classon and Franklin in Bed-Stuy began more than seven years ago. Before hitting financial troubles in 2010, it nearly reached completion, but it was ultimately turned over to the bank and sat stagnant for several years. But all that's in the past now; developer Bonjour Capital swooped in and finally finished the building. The first of the 56 rental apartments are currently listed with aptsandlofts, and leasing will officially launch on Monday. Units include one-, two- and three-bedrooms, and rents start at $2,175, $2,800, and $3,975 respectively for each type. The top floors will have a few duplex "penthouses," but those have not yet been listed. All apartments have private outdoor space, and building amenities include a part-time doorman, live-in super, fitness center, rooftop lounge, and parking for an additional fee.
