Developer Boaz Gilad continues his quest to turn all of Brooklyn into one big ugly apartment building with this latest installation at 954 Bergen Street, roughly his one hundred billionth new project in the area. Like so many of his other developments, this one stays true to the classic Gilad aesthetic of looking like two different buildings haphazardly jammed together — designed by his go-to architects Isaac & Stern, it most closely resembles an office building being swallowed by a parking garage with windows. Construction is already underway at the site, with the structure currently standing at two stories high. When it's done, it will rise to six stories and contain 38 residential units and 19 enclosed parking spaces on the ground floor.
