The war over the opening of a restaurant in Union Square Park has been long-fought, with proponents winning a key legal battle in February that allowed them to open a high-end eatery on a seasonal-basis. Nevertheless, opponents aren't giving up just yet, with activists visiting City Hall on Friday to deliver petitions against the controversial restaurant.
