Last month, when we first heard about 42-12 28th Street in Long Island City, set to become the tallest residential building in Queens and Brooklyn at 646 feet, there were no renderings available. Now, a few have been posted on the site's construction fence and NY YIMBY got some pictures. As absolutely no one could have predicted, the building will look like a big glassy tower. It doesn't appear that there's going to be much on the facade to make it stand out, not that there needs to be with its looming height. The design comes from highly prolific but usually under the radar architects Goldstein, Hill & West and is being developed by Heatherwod Communities. It is expected to be completed in June of 2017.
