New Karl Fischer Williamsburg Building Looks Basically Fine

New, 5 comments

As far as Karl Fischer-designed buildings go, this one in South Williamsburg seems fairly inoffensive. The seven-story, mixed-use development is planned for 377 Flushing Avenue, where Brownstoner spotted the construction fence rendering. It most closely resembles a slightly darker, more angular version of Fischer's design for another large residential building in Crown Heights, which, like this one, is being developed by the increasingly prolific Rabsky Group. This building will contain 99 units (it was originally supposed to be more) and ground floor commercial space, and in exchange for some rezoning the developer promised to include affordable housing and build an addition for the yeshiva school next door.
