$2M Murray Hill Condo Has a Bathroom Floor Made of Pennies

New, 11 comments

This full-floor unit in 52 Park Avenue, asking $2 million, has a private elevator landing, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a working fireplace, but those are all amenities we've seen before. What we haven't seen is a bathroom floor made of actual pennies, which gives the owner the (probably) awesome feeling of cold, hard cash under his or her feet every time he or she steps out of the shower, like some kind of cheapskate Scrooge McDuck. Other highlights of the — frankly, very appealing — 1,231-square-foot condo include the hammered copper sink, stone countertops, and custom light fixtures.
