Sold Stuff

A three-bedroom 29th floor condo at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park sold for $2.96 million in a luxury auction this week. The bidding started at $2.5 million, and the unit sold in just 15 minutes. Sheldon Good & Company had only marketed the unit for a few weeks, but the campaign yielded 65 visits to the property, 19 prospective buyers, and five bidders. Sheldon Good says luxury auctions are on the rise as they move units quickly and yield "the true market value" in a sale. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
