Work has started on a new tower at 95 Rockwell Place, a planned 32-story, 200-room hotel in the BAM Cultural District. The city Buildings Department issued demolition permits last April, with the small commercial building currently occupying the lot set to the come down. It will be replaced with tower designed by architect Thomas Leeser. City records indicate that the property will be part of the Marriott Autograph Collection line of high-end boutique hotels.
