The legal battles surrounding the redevelopment of Long Island College Hospital have gotten even more confusing and complicated (who knew that was possible?). A judge, who probably tired of hearing about the damn hospital, told the three competing bidders and the State University of New York to sit down and settle their differences by May 20. The goal is to agree on a plan that brings a full service hospital to the site at some point. But it's unclear if the biddersFortris Group, Prime Healthcare, the Peebles Corporationare even allowed to legally talk to each other. Oof. [Crain's; previously]
