Long-Vacant Harlem Lot Is Almost Reborn as Luxury Rentals

New, 2 comments

A long-vacant Harlem lot—we're talking, like, for three decades—is almost ready to welcome luxury rentals. Harlem Bespoke spotted some scaffolding being taken down at 2270 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, a new building at the corner of 122nd Street. There's also a teaser site promising that leasing will launch in June with the opportunity to sign up for more information. HB also has a nice history of the site, from a dusty lot with parked cars in the 90s to stalled development plans in more recent history. A Property Shark report says that it's an eight-story building with 41 apartments (in 33,369 square feet) and one retail space (in 2,390 square feet). Dare one hope to see listings next month?
