Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns (perhaps influenced by our Weekend Open House Tour from a couple months ago) just purchased a 2,107-square-foot 3BR/2.5BA in Richard Meier's On Prospect Park, the Observer reports, although Burns himself, who lives in New Hampshire, will not be residing there. Instead, the glassy apartment will be occupied by his daughter and her fiance. The Burnses paid over ask for the pad, which was listed in February for $2.599 million, dropping $2.75 million. The previous owner had purchased it in 2011 for $1.733 million.
