16 Units Will Be Housed In This Horrible-Looking Building

New, 11 comments

Developers just keep dumping ugly buildings on Brooklyn. Today's revelation: this five-story thing that's rising at 588 Myrtle Avenue on the Corner of Classon Avenue in Clinton Hill. Brownstoner calls it "way too busy," but the phrase they were probably looking for is "mismatched mess of glass and grey bricks, criss-crossed by way too many black bits." The architect of record is De-Jan Lu, and the owner is an LLC. The place will hold 16 apartments in 11,442 square feet, and it will probably be rentals because who on earth would want to live in that building forever?
