Conversion Watch

It's been over a year since we heard about the residential conversion planned for the former Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank on Chambers Street. Here's a mini update: developer Chetrit Group has hired the Marketing Directors to help with the luxury project, so the release about that includes two tantalizing little tidbits. 1) Amid marketing babble, some relevant info about unit size: "The 14-story Beaux-Arts building will offer a mix of one- to four-bedrooms with top of the line finishes." 2) Sales will launch in fall 2014. Like, really soon. Watch this space. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
