Scaffolding is rising around the old Salvation Army building at Bowery and East Third Street, and that means one thing: demolition is nigh. Developer Urban Muse is tearing down the 60-year-old building at 347 Bowery and, along with architect de moment Annabelle Selldorf, putting up a 13-story building with five three-bedroom condos and retail at the ground level. It'll probably look better than the hotel clad with glowing red tumors once planned for the site. [Bowery Boogie; previously]
