The Rubin Museum is selling an adjacent 40,000-square-foot building on the corner of Seventh Avenue and West 17th Street. The residentially-zoned building could fetch up to $60M, and it's likely that a developer would tear it down to build 70,000-square-foot condo project in its place. The museum bought the site, along with a few other properties, as an investment in 2000. [Crain's]
