The Hudson River Park Trust's deal to sell $100 million worth of air rights from Pier 40 to St. John's Terminal has politicians and local residents in an uproar, as the Trust has still failed to produce the memorandum of understanding that it apparently signed in secret. Community leaders say that a lawsuit is forthcoming, and, meawhile, the pier is still sinking into the river.
