Dare we say it? Of all the crazy-expensive condos sprouting along the High Line, the swooping spaceship designed by starchitect Zaha Hadidher first NYC projectat 28th Street right by the elevated park is the most exciting. It's set to be an 11-story building with 40 apartments, and now The Real Deal has a great scoop: pricing AND floorplans AND sizes for several of the units. They start at $4,595,000 for the least expensive condothe two-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom unit 2and going all the way up to $35 million for the most expensive of the three penthouses (floorplan above), which is a five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom behemoth of a duplex that'll ask $35 million. It clocks in at 6,391 square feet.
TRD also has the full list of prices, so do check that out. It also shows which units will have outdoor space (and how much they'll have) as well as projected annual taxes and common charges for every apartment. The prices per square foot, as charted by The Real Deal, range from $2,660.68 to $5,476.45, the latter being for that $30M penthouse.
The filings with the Attorney General's office, from whence this information came, also included the full roster of amenities: a 75-foot pool, gym, sauna, and steam room; and also a private spa suite with treatment beds, a waterfall shower, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge bath. Sounds more like a luxury hotel, but that's sorta what condos are gunning for these days, especially with these asking prices.
