Presumably because the charming woodframe house at 330 Throop Avenue at the corner of Pulaski Street in Bed-Stuy does not maximize every square inch of space on its lot, veering towards inadequacy in today's market, the antique home with a mansard roof is soon to meet the wrecking ball. Brownstoner says a demolition permit was issued in April for the pre-1873 house, now divided into three units, that is outside of Bed-Stuy's historic districts. A still-pending application calls for a four-story, eight-apartment building on the site.
