Hank Azaria Nabs $9.2M Co-Op on Central Park

New, 8 comments

D'oh! The Simpsons voicer and all-around funnyman Hank Azaria has picked up a pretty serious Central Park West pad in a Rosario Candela-designed building, reports NYO. Originally two separate units, the 3BR, 4.5BA apartment at 75 Central Park West set Azaria back $9.225 million, but offers up 63 feet of Central Park frontage, wood-burning fireplaces, keyed elevator entrance and space for a fourth bedroom.

The Observer playfully reports—which is to say it did not happen—that upon entering the co-op, Azaria spontaneously slipped into the character of Simpsons convenience store owner Apu to reprise Who Needs the Kwik-E-Mart: "Whether igloo, hut, or geodesic dome there's no structure that I've been to that I'd rather call my home."
