A group of citizens referring to themselves as the Great and Glorious Grand Army of The Bronx invaded Marble Hill this weekend in an attempt to finish the work of former Bronx borough president James Lyons, who attempted to annex the neighborhood in 1939. "No longer must you suffer the spoiled ramblings of the effete bourgeoisie and the ever encroaching menace of hipsterism," said the group's brave/hilarious leader. Eventually they gave up and went to a bar. [NYDN]
