Gowanus and Carroll Gardens residents continue to be jostled by the Lightstone Group's mega-development site along the canal between Carroll and Second streets, where pile drivers begin shaking the bedrock around 7 a.m. every morning. Gowanus Your Face Off estimates that just 100 of 1,200 piles have been placed for the 700-rental development. The construction has also reportedly taken over the streets and their valuable parking spots. Sounds like these unhappy residents have miles (and years) to go before they sleep. [GYFO; previously]
