An in-progress Carroll Gardens development at 345 Carroll Street has released a teaser site. The 32-apartment bluestone and glass high-end building coming to the former locale of the Regency Carts warehouse will have two- to four-bedroom apartments, 18 with private terraces, and private parking and a "secret garden." Sterling Equities purchased the site for $12.5 million in May 2013, and filed demolition permits for the existing two-story structure in October, reported BBH.
The two-block stretch between Hoyt Street and the Gowanus Canal on Carroll will be home to a lot of new occupants in the coming years: 345 Carroll Street, along with its next-door neighbor, the new 30-residence luxury development that assumed the Carroll Gardens Hell Building, and Lightstone Group's down-the-street 700-unit mega-development will bring a total of some 762 new apartments to the immediate area.
