Hawthorn Park Brings 339 Pads to Lincoln Square Perimeter

New, 7 comments

In 2012, Glenwood Management set out to bring a new 54-story, 339-apartment building to a lot across from Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park. Now, Hawthorn Park—a misnomer for the rather tall tower that does stand at 160 62nd Street—is leasing. The rather vertical building that takes an alternate, but less accepted address of 51 Amsterdam Avenue was designed by the ubiquitous Stephen B. Jacobs Group. On StreetEasy, the building's 12 active rentals range in size from studios to three-bedroom's and in price from a pretty broad $3,295 to $18,500. Building amenities include include a bike room, attended parking garage, residents' lounge, kids' room, gym, locker rooms, lap pool and "spa whirlpool." To jumpstart the building's 339 leases, some are being offered as no fee with one month included.
