263 North 9th Street, a Williamsburg condo/rental building that was being developed by murdered Brooklyn landlord Menachem Stark and has now been taken over by the Fortis Property Group, could not have looked more bland or gray if it tried in its initial rendering. Now there's a new rendering out and the development looks... marginally less boring. There is, at the very least, a material on display other than gray brick (and we're also big fans of the saucy scalie lady mugging for the camera in the bottom right corner).
The five-story, 195-unit (150 rentals, 45 condos) building is being designed by Perkins Eastman, and is expected to be finished by 2015. Fortis bought the site in 2012 for $4.86 million and change.
