Stuy Town-Peter Cooper Village tenants held a rally today to try and make sure they don't get completely screwed by raised rents when the complex sells (again). Luckily for them, they had some politicians making speech on their behalf, such as Senator Chuck Schumer, who said, "For decades, Stuy Town and Peter Cooper Village has been a haven and oasis of affordability for thousands of middle-class families in New York City and, once again, we need to do all we can to keep it that way."
