On its ascent to 1,397 feet, 432 Park Avenue has come to an important milestone: the city's soon-to-be tallest residential tower has surpassed a height of 1,000 feet. YIMBY points out that at its current stature of 1,054 feet, or 68-stories, the commanding structure is already the tallest in the city north of the Empire State Building. When complete in 2015, 432 Park will be the city's tallest residential building; exceeding even One World Trade Center, whose 300-some-foot-tall spire allows it to retain the title of the Western hemisphere's tallest structure.
