The elderly residents of a beleaguered assisted living facility at the northwest corner of Prospect Park have been granted some more time to find new homes. On Friday, a judge handed down a temporary restraining order, ruling that the Prospect Park Residence must continue to provide essential services for its tenants before it shutters. The decisions comes after seven residents decided to sue. The landlord, though, presumably wants 'em out of there ASAP so he can build condos or something. [NYDN; previously]
