Six of the units in new rental building The Roosevelt are affordable. The rest are definitely not. Brownstoner Queens is reporting that a penthouse in the building is renting for $4,100/month, which would make it the most expensive rental ever in Woodside, Jackson Heights, or Elmhurst (the building is located basically on the border of all three neighborhoods). So, now $4,000+ apartments in Queens neighborhoods that aren't Long Island City is a thing, apparently. There's no listing for the apartment in question to be found, but the floorplan shows that there is quite a bit of private outdoor space. Three other units in The Roosevelt, all penthouses, are also still on the rental market with prices ranging from $2,700/month to $3,875/month. The finishes, let's just say, do not look thrilling.
