A house on Avenue B between East 9th and East 10th streets, formerly home to the New York Gospel Mission to the Jews, will now become a small apartment building. According to permit filings, the run-down, five-story structure across from Tompkins Square Park is slated for a conversion to four apartments, including a penthouse duplex. One of many religious institutions-to-residential projects, the owner of this one is the enigmatic Tompkins Square Holdings LLC and the architect is Jeffrey Cole. [BuzzBuzzHome; previously]
