The Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park has seen better days, but the city says that there isn't enough money to do the complete renovation the bandshell truly needs. It did shell out enough to have the lettering of the dedication, "Presented to the City of New York and Its Music Lovers by Elkan Naumburg," regilded, however, along with some cosmetic cleaning.
