Downtown Brooklyn, Brace for 714 Apartments on Bond Street

New, 10 comments

The design for TF Cornerstone's "massive apartment complex" on Brooklyn's Bond Street has finally been unveiled. New York YIMBY got the first glimpse, plus, in an interview extracted from developers Tom and Fred Elghanayan (get it? TF?), learned that it will be 25 floors and 714 units. Of those, 20 percent will be affordable. The site, whcih toes the line between Downtown Brooklyn and Boerum Hill because of its location between Schermerhorn and Livingston streets, is currently a parking lot. Of course it's getting torn down; join the club. The future 33 Bond Street is entering the demolition and construction phase now. Hey, at least it's not tall.
