Architect Charles Mallea filed plans this week to construct a 45,000-square-foot mixed-use building at 810 Flushing Avenue on the corner of Beaver Street in Bushwick. The proposal calls for a seven-story, 42-unit building with commercial and community space on the ground floor. A discount store and deli currently occupy the property. Permits list the owner as Upper Class Realty, which seems like it could be a bit of an oxymoronic name. [BBH]
