Anne Hathaway On Her Own After Selling $4M Clocktower Loft

New, 3 comments

At the end of the day, or at least eventually, the place had to sell; and sell it has. After a floundering on and off the market since last September, Les Misérables actress Anne Hathaway has finally unloaded her $4.25 million loft at Dumbo's Clocktower Building. The Daily News reports that an unknown buyer inked a deal for the 2,592-square-foot digs at 1 Main Street on Friday. Earlier reports speculate that Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman never lived in the two-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom loft, fearing it was too public of a location given their notoriety. In lieu of occupying the space herself, Hathaway reportedly used the spacious place as, quite possibly, the largest walk-in-closet in all of New York City.
