The Lower East Side's Cantilevering Condos Are Really Coming

New, 10 comments

ODA Architecture's glassy staircase o' condos is on its way to becoming a reality.... sort of. BuzzBuzzHome stopped by the construction site at 100 Norfolk Street near Delancey, and excavation work has commenced. There's also a rendering posted on the blue fencing, which is promising. Plus, the blog also spotted a live teaser site for the 38-apartment building, developed by Urban-Scape Adam America Real Estate. It has a zoomed-in shot of the cantilevering nighttime rendering and a tagline that is, um, numerically savvy: "38 units, 100 reasons." UPDATE: A rep reached out to say that Adam America is now heading the development team with Horizon Group and Naveh Shuster Ltd., having bought the site in 2012.
