After one Greenpoint resident repeatedly tried and failed to hold someone, anyone accountable for the mess left on India Street after it was used for a day to film HBO's hit show "Girls", he realized there is no system that holds industry-types accountable for the streets they jam-up with their trailers and yellow tape. Councilman Stephen Levin agrees. "Film shoots are guests in our community and as guests they need to show respect to their host," he said "but like everyone else they need to clean up after themselves." [BP]
