Mayor de Blasio, by continuing to express interest in scoring Obama's presidential library and museum for New York City, is nipping at the media frenzy's heels following Obama's concession that the city might not be a bad place to settle after his term. Despite the prez's Chicago roots, BdB believes the library and museum of letters and artifacts would find a meaningful home at Columbia University, the president's 1983 alma mater. BdB: "... we obviously can guarantee not only a lot of support for such a museum but a huge number of people from around the world would be able to visit it." Is the same not true for Chicago? No wonder they think we're a bunch of "asswipes". [NYO; NYDN; previously]
