Red Hook Condo Development 160 Imlay Launches Website

New, 6 comments

It's full steam ahead for luxury condo building 160 Imlay, as the intrepid conquistadors behind the Red Hook waterfront development have launched the building's official website and construction is underway. There's no pricing info yet, but there are some new high-definition renderings and details of the building itself and its many industrial elements, including the ceilings (12 to 16 feet), the floors ("chosen to reflect the industrial characteristics of the past, and is a wide plank european white oak"), windows ("made of solid steel and are fabricated in Italy"), and more. There's also a full list of building amenities, which include a fitness center with steam and sauna rooms and locker rooms, a 24-hour doorman, and the landscaped rear garden and roof deck. And the whole artistic angle hasn't been abandoned, although its presence on the site is subtle — according to Brownstoner, the living room rendering includes a Louis Poulsen Artichoke light, Norman Cherner chairs and paintings by Jean Michel Basquiat and Donald Baechler. The project is slated to be complete in Summer of 2016.
